About Product Terms


Product Terms can automatically be added using an existing Library Term.

Adding Product Terms to a Product

  • Browse to the Product you would like to add Terms to.
  • Click the "Terms" button.
  • Click "Add Term"

  • Select the Term from the Library using the drop down
    • If a configuration is available, a picklist with those options will also be shown. If a configuration is selected on your Product Term, it will only add the term if that configuration is selected. 
  • Check the "Auto-Approve" box if the term should automatically be shown on the Quote.
  • If you want the term to NOT automatically be added to follow-on purchases, check the "Exclude Secondary Purchases" box.
    • For Example, if the Customer purchased this product on their Initial Purchase, and you add it again for an Add-on or Renewal, the Term will not b


Note:
Terms will automatically be removed upon save if any qualifying products no longer exist in the Quote
Terms will automatically be removed upon save if the Product Term was deleted from the system.
