Making changes can impact functionality and expected results. We have attempted to capture common changes to Configurations and how they will impact the experience for the end users.
| Change | Severity | Impact |
| Configuration Name | Low | This change is retroactive for all places the product shows up, but has little impact on functionality. |
| Price | Medium | This change will impact only after user has made a change to the configuration or removed and re-added the same product. Renewal products will be left alone unless there is a change. Currently quoted products will be at the same price until changed. A discount or quantity change will not impact the configuration attributes. |
| Mark Configuration as Inactive | High | The configuration will be removed from the product the next time it is pulled up on the quote entry screen, but the product's price will remain the same. Additionally, the configuration will be erased from the line item when it is saved. |
| Tier Relationship | Low | While no errors will be present, the calculations will not be applied if the Tier is deactivated, or the Tier relation |
